Christmas is coming!

Christmas is coming! This year’s Charitable Trust Christmas card is the stunning Angel of Kibworth by Reg Cartwright. The original painting is owned by Kibworth CE Primary School after being donated by Steve and daughter Lydia Thomas-Emberson in 2009.

Cards are blank for your own seasonal message, printed on recycled card, and cost £3.50 for a pack of 6. All proceeds will go to the Trust. Buy them right now from The Bookshop in Kibworth.

On Saturday 25 November we’ll be in Kibworth Co-op store between 10am-2pm with the cards and a fun raffle! Donna and the Co-op team will be offering some festive tastings too, including new Prosecco crisps apparently, which we are very keen to try! so please do pop in and say hello.

If you run a community group, facility or project in the Kibworth and Smeeton villages that might benefit from a charitable grant of between £100-£3,000, why not apply? All the guidance and forms are on our website.

Congratulations to Sue Dargie who runs the Kibworth T’ai Chi group in the Village Hall, to whom we’ve just awarded a grant of £510, which will help keep the sessions affordable for its participants.

You can keep up to date with us on Facebook and Twitter and our website at www.kibworthcharitabletrust.org.uk or email kibworthcharitabletrust@hotmail.co.uk
