We will be holding a table top sale on Saturday 11 April in Kibworth Village Hall, LE8 0LN. From 10am - 12.45.  There will be a good variety of stalls including: craft stalls, handmade cards, jewellery, Tropic skin care products, knitted & crochet goods, jigsaws  books, pre loved clothes, raffle, bric-a-brac and lots more.

After a fabulous concert last November, followed by our usual Christmas events, we are very excited to share with you the total amount raised for our chosen charity, Rainbows Children's Hospice in Loughborough. We raised a total of £1,300 which the Hospice were absolutely thrilled with! Thank you to everyone who supported us!

After a brief spell on the sidelines the Stonton Wyville church bell is reinvigorated and back in action.

Leicester Society of Artists is having its annual exhibition at the Leicester Museum  and Art Gallery on New Walk, Leicester from Saturday 14 February to Sunday 11 April.

In January, Fox Connect responded to feedback they received by adding stops to serve Langton Greenhouse, Premier Inn, Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Kibworth Surgery.

THE CHORAL

At St. Andrew’s, Thorpe Langton on the last Saturday in April and May (not March) - 11am to 1pm.

In January’s Chronicle Michael Rodber responded to my December article Inequality in a Just World. He correctly identified Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) as the economic framework for the article and expressed a wish to debate matters and summarise these debates in future Chronicles. I
