New Services at Kibworth Medical Centre

As a practice we feel that functional medicine is extremely important and with our new facilities we are delighted that we now have the space to offer these services.

Our range of exercise classes for patients of all abilities include specially developed classes that help improve balance and stability and can be particularly beneficial for patients who are less mobile or have perhaps had falls. This session is run weekly.

In conjunction with a local fitness expert we are running some chair-based exercise classes. These are beneficial for those who are new to exercise, those who exercise regularly but may be struggling with an injury, or those who would like to complement their existing exercise programme. These classes are low impact and have been very popular.

We also have a range of alternative therapies to complement our existing NHS services. These include regular foot clinics to help with all your foot care needs including verrucas and athlete’s foot, nail trimming and cutting, ingrowing toe nails, fungal nails, corns and callus removal.

A regular massage therapist sees patients for sports massage, deep tissue massage, remedial massage and reflexology and an Osteopath sees patients for a wide range of problems.

We will shortly be starting to run a range of seminars and educational classes to teach patients the importance of self care and to develop knowledge about particular conditions such as diabetes, respiratory conditions, contraception, nutrition and common ailments.

To access any of these services, or if you have a subject you would like to see covered, please contact Reception.
