Foxton Gardens Society

This year’s speakers will cover such diverse topics as ‘Water as a Garden Feature’, ‘Growing Vegetables in Containers’, and ‘Gardening Through the Ages’.

A full day’s outing to Wollerton Old Hall Gardens has been planned for May and a second trip to Renishaw Hall and Gardens in June. If you are unable to commit to a full day why not join us in July for an evening outing to Green Park Wicket Farm in Bitteswell, followed by an optional dinner at a local pub.

There’s also an evening Pimms Party in August and our Produce and Craft Show in September. This fun event is as much about community spirit as serious gardening/crafting so it would be good to see lots of children getting involved.

Visitors and guests are always welcome for just £3 and full year’s membership is only £8.

Further information can be obtained from our Chairman, Paddy Bailey on 01858 545345. Meetings are usually held on the third Wednesday of the month at 8pm in the Robert Monk Hall.
