Fleckney Road Housing Development

 

A development of 195 dwellings is proposed by David Wilson Homes for land north of Fleckney Road, Kibworth Beauchamp [18/00268/REM]. It will comprise 123 private units and 72 affordable units, including houses, apartments and bungalows. The plan also includes public open space, protected grassland and a locally equipped area for play (LEAP). A ‘potential community building’ is to be confirmed.

 

A single point of vehicular access from Fleckney Road was approved at the Outline Planning Stage. A footpath/cycle link connects to Gladstone Street and also, potentially, to the adjacent Miller Homes development. The applicant states that ‘It is not intended for there to be an adoptable highway to the boundary of the site, serving as a connection through to the Miller Homes scheme.’
