Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital will be holding a Christmas table top sale on Saturday 13 December in Kibworth Village Hall LE8 0LN. From 10am-12.45.

Ludger’s final service at St Wilfrid’s Church took place on Advent Sunday, 30 November, when a full church had the opportunity to say farewell to him and Ruth. A shared lunch followed in the Church Hall, attended by about 100 people.

A new barbershop has opened on the Square, previously occupied by the small opticians shop for several years.

As we watch the footballers struggling with the inclement weather, we are glad to leave the car park at Kibworth Mead Academy and head for the warm Main Hall to play table tennis. All are welcome and the first session is free, including the coaching on Wednesday nights from 7pm (beginners) and 7.45pm (improvers) with free play from 8.30 - 9.30pm.

At our October meeting Karen Atherton talked about her career as ‘One of the First Female Airline Pilots’.

A group of businesses/shops formed the Kibworth Business Forum last year calling ourselves ‘We Are Kibworth’.  The group is made up of businesses with a ‘shop front’ either on the High Street or elsewhere in either of the Kibworths. e.g. Fleckney Road, Station Street, Harborough Road.

Club members have enjoyed a busy and successful season.
