One Monday in August we were astonished to see an otter on our garden wall. The weather was very poor and my husband Phill thought he had seen something that he couldn’t identify, flash by in the rain. For the next ten minutes we tried to guess what it was: dog, fox, rat, Muntjac deer? He rejected all of these.

At Kibworth Golf Club this summer has been an outstanding one for our Juniors. Noah Williams (U15) and Evan Fowler (U12) travelled to Northern Ireland to take part in the prestigious Champion of Champions Junior World Championships! With 250 juniors from 49 countries competing, it’s an incredible achievement just to qualify. Both boys secured their spots through the Robert Rock Junior Tour. Noah finished 1st and Evan 2nd in their age categories last season. Over three 18-hole rounds, Noah produced an excellent performance to finish 9th out of 40 competitors. While Evan secured a strong 30th place out of 60.

In early 2000, an eclectic mix of young and old gathered together at the Grammar School Hall. There, under the direction of Richard Green, they gave birth to Last Minute Theatre.
