Club Awards Night
This was held at The Swan, Kibworth, with the Club as a whole winning the Mixed Teams Division 3 Title for 2018. A number of runners also received certificates for achieving various grades of Club Standards. This recognises runners based on a variety of distances, and their times, also taking into account their age category.

Individual awards were presented to the following: Best Male Athlete - Jim Hawley; Best Female Athlete - Hannah Carter; Most Improved Male - Andy Findlay; Most Improved Female - Natalie Gray; Best Male Performance - Sam Pole; Best Female Performance - Jude Hughes & Lorna Muskett; Club Member - Andy Kemp and the Jo Thacker Memorial Trophy - Matt Rix.

Couch to 5k
From an original group of 16, around half are still regularly attending as the time and distances increases. This is a great retention rate, and hopefully some of those who haven’t been able to continue will return to the Club at some point or continue their progress elsewhere.

Leicestershire Half Marathon
Dan Pedley and Graham Pickering represented the Club at Prestwold Hall, near Loughborough. Graham recorded a new PB of 1:49:07 for position 512, and Dan posted a time of 2:24:12 for position 1137 on his debut over the 13.1 miles distance.

Winter Warmer Milton Keynes 10k
Natalie Gray and Ellen Burbidge crossed the line almost together in 1:08:24 and 1:08:25 for positions 372 and 373 respectively, followed by Tracey Dowdell in 376, Holly Bremner at 382 with the team completed by Liz Olner, for position 413.

LRRL Stilton 7
Taking place at Asfordby, Alan Gibson was first home in a chip time of 60:35 (334) for a new PB, with Kirit Patel three places back with a PB of 60:52 and Jo Raine with a time of 75:30 for position 463.

Naseby 1645
This unique distance of 16.45 miles is in the rolling Leicestershire & Northants countryside. It provided a tough challenge for our two runners; Noel Houlihan took 20th position in a fantastic time of 1:55:58, as well as 2nd place in his age category and Vicky Beaumont completed the distance in 2:36:24 for position 229 overall.

Derby Runner Cross Country League
A team of six runners turned out for the last of the Winter Cross Country League races. Overnight rain led to some testing conditions, including the now famous ‘Bosworth Bog’! Jim Hawley, led the way for the Club, with the team made up by Mike Turner, Bernie Owen, Matt Rix, Andy Kemp and Tor Hawley.

Warwick Half Marathon
Hannah Carter continued her impressive form with a new PB clocking a time of 1:42:03, knocking 45 seconds off her previous best and clinching a very notable 36 of 343 position amongst the ladies.
