We are building a list of all those who have volunteered with The Kibworth & District Chronicle since it's inception in 1978.

I read with interest the article that appeared in the March edition of the Kibworth & District Chronicle concerning the General Strike of 1926, and it prompted me to send in what I have been told is a rare piece of paperwork relating to this significant episode in Leicester's history.

My proposal for a Kibworth Festival 2027 - a village of culture and fun was met with a mixed reception.

I thought you'd like to know the total made at the clutter sale was £1500.47 which was brilliant. It just tops off our last few weeks, as we were honoured to be invited to the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. This was a special occasion for both ourselves and GEMS charity.

We have almost drawn up a list of talks for the remainder of the year and look forward to some splendid presentations.

Tuesday 9 June - An Evening with Felicity Cloake, 7.30pm at Kibworth Books 

Market Harborough Choral Society are pleased to present under the musical directorship of Emma Trounson and accompanied by Oksana King on piano

The monthly public parish council meeting was held on 7 April at 7 pm in the Studio at the Kibworth Community Hub. The council approved apologies from absent councillors and approved the March meeting minutes.

On the 23 and 25 May, 11-5pm, Westview in Great Glen, LE8 9EH, an organically managed small garden packed full of plants and shrubs, including a courtyard, small pond, vegetable areas and recycled ornaments.
