Kibworth Town Seniors
Under new management, Ellis Potter and Tom Davis KTFC got off to a slow start but soon improved finishing mid table. The standout performance of the season was a 2-1 win versus our noisy neighbours Fleckney Athletic. Scorers were Ollie Magee and Tom Hooley.

Next season Kibworth Town is in the Leicestershire Senior League. If you want to join us at team training 11 July, 6:30pm at Birds Barns in Kibworth.

Under the guidance of Ed Burbage the KTFC veterans grew steadily, finishing fourth in a competitive division. The team was still in the hunt for the City League title right up to the closing weeks of the campaign.

Performance of the year was a win away at Magna 73 FC, featuring a last minute wonder strike from our German colossus Dave Wickenkamp. Players aged 35 or over interested in joining the squad should contact us.

Kibworth Town Boys
Our Under 6s players have lots of fun. The focus is on ball mastery, 1v1 training and plenty of game time. We’ve managed to register three teams - Swifts, Falcons and Eagles - for next season.

The Under 7s have had a fantastic year. The Pirates are lucky to have some very supportive parents with the ethos of the teams focused on inclusivity and having a great time.

At Under 9s, ‘Tigers’ Dash, Matty, William, Oliver, Josh, Darwen, Theo, and Alfie were joined by new recruits Lucas, Harrison, Eesa, and Umar. They reached the semi-final of their knock out cup.

The ‘Lions’ have enjoyed a great season, winning 11 out of their 15 games, while the ‘Panthers’ stormed to the top of the league before Christmas, and in the New Year stepped up two divisions. All three teams should be extremely proud of themselves!

The U11s ‘Swifts’ have had a great season. They reached the semi-finals of the County cup, the quarter-finals of the League cup and finished with a trip to the 28th Castle Donington exchange tournament. They won the final against Castle Donington in a thrilling 1-0 match.

Kibworth ‘Hawks’ U12s finished a creditable fourth with notable performances: 2-0 win v Sileby Whites, 2-2 draw v Champions GNG Lions, 1-0 win v Fleckney. The team train on Tuesday from 6.30 to 8pm.

Kings U15 were cup semi-finalists, and came 5th in the league, finishing in style winning 1-0 away at the Borough Alliance, and 5-0 away at third placed Allexton.

Kibworth Town Girls
They have played some accomplished teams, but with support and hard work at training, they show real progression.

The U11s. Charlotte, Daniella, Evie, Rebecca, Sally, Sophia and Zara welcomed new players Erin, Jasmine, Neave and Olesia. Highlights included Erin’s ‘magic’, Neave and Jasmine’s goalkeeping, and Zara’s celebrations.

The U12s team finished fifth in their league - a great achievement as they had only five registered players to start the season but now have 15 girls.
The U13s team finished top of the league and got through to the league cup quarter finals. A staggering six players have been selected for regional academy teams at Kettering Town and Peterborough United! Congratulations to Izzy Clapham, Molly and Grace Walker, Jasmine Eley, Emmi Russell and Casey McMichael!
