Remembrance Sunday Service
Sunday 13th November
This year’s service will combine both outdoor and indoor elements. The parade will arrive outside St Wilfrid’s Church at approximately 10.40am. Wreaths will be laid on the war memorial and the names of the fallen will be read. A shortened service will then take place inside the church, beginning at approximately 10.50am.
Please be aware that there will be very limited seating in the church. To maximise standing room, anyone requiring a seat is asked to go directly into the church before the start of the outdoor service. Collection boxes for the Royal British Legion will be available outside the church and at both entrances.
Please ensure that the road outside of the church is left clear of cars.
Advent, Christingle & Carol Services
Sunday 27 November at 4pm Kibworth
Advent Service by candlelight, followed by refreshments. Join us for a traditional service that begins our preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
Sunday 4 December
9.30 Express – Join us in the Hall for a fun interactive service, followed by bacon butties.
10.30am Kibworth – A special Baptism and Confirmation Service for adults with the Bishop of Leicester, Bishop Martyn.
Sunday 11 December at 4pm Kibworth
All age Christingle service.
Sunday 18 December
6.30pm Smeeton Westerby – Carols with Brass, followed by mulled wine and mince pies.
