Spinners Table Tennis
The Spinners’ inaugural club tournament was held in April. First place was secured by 15 year-old Dillon Kearney. Runner-up Drew Harbidge pushed all the way in a final which was well worth watching.
Level 2 coach, Andy Wright, assisted by Level 1 coach, Miriam Wohl, are holding coaching sessions on 5 tables from 6.45 – 8.15pm on Mondays 5 and 12 June at Fleckney Sports Centre, Leicester Road.
A second 5-week course will start at the same time on Monday 31 July. These will continue weekly until Monday 4 September.
Beginners, improvers and League players are welcome at these sessions, and the emphasis will be on correct technique, from which many ‘advanced’ players can benefit, according to Andy! Booking is essential for each session to allow us to plan the content.
Club social sessions will now be on Thursdays 7- 8.30pm.
