Kibworth Theatre Company and Main Street Theatre Company – May 2023
Both theatre groups were really pleased with the reception our latest production, A Bunch of Amateurs, by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman received.
We played to packed houses at the end of March and the beginning of April and I am pleased to say that our audiences went home thoroughly entertained. We would like to thank people for all the kind words and compliments that we received. Along with the recently performed Murder Mysteries, both groups are certainly thriving and are happy to continue to work together.
Of course, we cannot rest upon our laurels and thoughts have already turned to our next production. We are thrilled that Ella Conway, one of our own members, has written a very entertaining musical play called For One Night Only.
Ella is already an accomplished actress and singer and is now adding playwriting to her CV. Although things are not quite finalised, we hope to bring you more news of this production in the next issue of the Chronicle.
