Thank you for contacting us about the bridge replacement at Kibworth Grammar School.

We can confirm that the installation of the temporary footbridge will commence shortly with the permanent bridge remaining open until the temporary bridge is in operation.

We still expect the current bridge to be demolished, and the new bridge to be installed on the 21st/ 22nd October; during this time the temporary footbridge will be closed for safety reasons. More information with regards to specific timings will be communicated nearer the time. The bridge reopening and temporary footbridge removal is currently expected to be during March 2024.
