2nd Kibworth Brownies – Come and Join us!
The 2nd Kibworth Guides have just started back after the summer holidays. For the August bank holiday weekend we took eight girl guides to the Wellies and Wristband Festival in Lancashire. The girls enjoyed a variety of activities including climbing, zip wire, bush craft and the crate challenge. They also had lots of fun on the many inflatables, water slide and relaxing in the hot tubs.
The evenings were filled with entertainment too, from bands such as Road Trip and Channy. The weekend came to an end on the Sunday night with a fantastic firework display. This festival is just one of the many camping experiences the girl guides can enjoy.
For the coming autumn term we will be painting rocks for #harboroughrocks, completing the autumn challenge badge and supporting our guides to complete their Baden Powell challenge. We will also be having a Halloween party, celebrating Diwali and of course Christmas activities.
If you would like to join 2nd Kibworth Guides, we meet every Tuesday term time 7.30pm-9pm at the Kibworth scout hut.
