The Welcome Kitchen is back!
We are delighted to announce that the Welcome Kitchen is back! It’s starting up again for eight weeks from: Monday 30 October, 12 – 2 pm.
The Welcome Kitchen will be held at the Hall at the Kibworth Community Hub (formerly known as the Kibworth Grammar School).
We are keen to welcome back friends that joined us every week before we closed for the summer and hope that if you haven’t been before, you might visit us. The Kitchen is open to everyone. We are a really friendly bunch. We aim to bring light-hearted conversation, the company of friends and let’s not forget soup and a roll, refreshments and biscuits. Some weeks we will have cake. You are all very welcome to join us.
As a non-profit making group we welcome a suggested voluntary contribution towards the cost of ingredients of £2 per person.
Our chef, Jenny, will not disappoint and has already planned her first homemade soup for 30 October – Broccoli and Pea – which we know will be delicious.
If you have an allotment with an abundance of vegetables to donate please let us know.
The team: Beverley, Bruce, David, Geraldine, Jane, Jenny and Keith will be there to welcome you and make sure you have a very special time.
