Constructions
The work to construct the skate park and the temporary footbridge over the railway continues steadily. Pictures of these events, which sometimes include ones taken from a drone appear on the Kibworth and Smeeton Information Exchange FaceBook page. It is worth looking there for the latest update.
Thoughtlessness
Drivers of SUVs seem to think it is OK to park partly on the pavement as their cars are so large. However this often blocks the pavement such that parents with pushchairs or people on mobility scooters have to go into the road. May I suggest drivers park their car close to the kerb edge, leaving the pavement free? People came before cars.
