Kibworth Tennis Club – Locked down during Lockdown

 Before Lockdown

The club was very busy with the following sessions taking place:

  • Over 40 weekly coaching courses for children from 3 to 18 and adults;
  • 3 weekly adult team tennis sessions;
  • 1 weekly adult social tennis session;
  • The 2020/21 Mini/Junior Team Tennis Challenge started again towards the end of October with over 110 children playing for the Red or Blue team. After the 1st week the score was 117 – 110 to the Red Team. The photo shows some children who played in a recent Mini Tennis Event.

After Lockdown 

The courts are empty of players, activity and noise. We understand and appreciate the reasons why but we are all keeping our fingers crossed that we can start playing tennis again on 3 December 2020!
