FitSteps® FAB fitness classes
A former West End dance star who danced alongside the great Rudolf Nureyev will open his new FitSteps® FAB fitness classes in Kibworth this January.
Graham Fletcher will lead the classes, originally created by Strictly dance stars Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite, along with Olympic swimmer Mark Foster. Graham is a former Principal Dancer with The Royal Ballet Company and West End theatre. He even appeared as the diva, karate chopping, Miss Piggy in The Muppet Show sketch, ‘Swine Lake’ with the infamous Rudolf Nureyev! He has enjoyed a lifetime of dance, and albeit that retirement was on the horizon, he has left all thoughts of this behind to become a FitSteps® FAB (Fit for All Bodies) fitness instructor.
“Whilst on holiday, I saw a FitSteps® FAB exercise class advertised. So my wife and I went to give the class a try. Well, we both absolutely loved it and as soon as we got back, I went online and signed up for an instructor course immediately”.
FitSteps® FAB is especially for those who prefer a lighter intensity, lower impact, and slower pace of exercise class, with easy-to-follow moves and great music. Just perfect for the young, and especially the young at heart.
“Being already semi-retired I was certainly not contemplating taking on more teaching”.
“But after becoming a GOLD FitSteps® instructor, and starting my FitSteps® FAB classes, I am really enjoying sharing this wonderful way of incorporating movement, music and fitness with everyone. The emphasis is definitely on having some ‘Strictly’ style fun whilst getting fit!”

Graham’s FitSteps® FAB classes are running from Friday 12 January 2024 at 11.30am at Kibworth Grammar School Hall. He is offering a FREE FitSteps® FAB taster class to everyone who comes along on the day to give his class a try.
