GEMS – November 2023
Everyone at GEMS Charity would like to thank the family of Jack Harling for donations after Jack’s recent passing. Jack was a great supporter and fundraiser for GEMS. This included numerous head and beard shaves, being open gardens car park attendant and donating his small change. Jack was always there if we needed him and will be greatly missed.
We would also like to thank the staff and customers of the NFU office in Market Harborough for holding a coffee and cake morning that raised the great amount of £370.80.
The Kings Head, Smeeton, is holding the last quiz of the year on Saturday 9 December from 7.30pm as another fund raiser. SAJ has set some great quizzes during the year and I’m sure this one won’t be any different. As places are filling up fast, booking is essential by contacting Andrew or Edd on 0116 279 2676.
And finally many thanks to E J WARD motor engineers of Bruntingthorpe who held a raffle during their open day and donated £103.
