Advent Windows in Mowsley.
Colourful Candles.
Eighteen residents in Mowsley decided that despite Covid-19 they would go ahead and decorate their windows to celebrate Christmas.
A change of plan.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions there were no mince pies, mulled wine and drum roll as the windows were unveiled each evening, as has happened in past years.
Instead there were gingerbread men and gingerbread Christmas trees, not however to be eaten but to be admired only.
The Gingerbread Shop.
Also this year every window was unveiled on 1 December, not revealed one by one over twenty four days of Advent.
Follow that trail!
A trail map was sent by email so Mowsley residents could walk round the village, often in the dark when many houses were illuminated , and admire the creativity of their fellow villagers. RO
