Kibworth Community Hub
Life continues to be busy at the Hub.
At the beginning of February we hosted the Final of the Miss Leicestershire contest, with the winner going on to take part in Miss England. Angie Beasley, who organises the contest, was very impressed with our facilities and will be keen to use us again. We look forward to welcoming the contest back next year. The contestants have to raise money for charity under the ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ Banner and also take part in a sports round.
Not only do our users have access to the adjacent, free car park. We have a keyboard for use, projectors and screens in both the main hall and studio and also, through the theatre companies, stage lighting.
Classes
- We have a new yoga class starting – yoga is available from Monday to Thursday
- New Pilates class
- Fitsteps (fitness through dancing)
- Singing class (Free Your Voice) for adults and children
A reminder that our AGM will be held in the hall on 13 March at 7.00pm, and we would encourage as many residents as possible to attend. If anybody is interested in becoming a trustee, please contact me on Tel:07914264965.
