1950 -2024
The Chronicle is saddened to announce the death of one of Smeeton Westerby characters, the ever gentle and knowledgeable Roger Holt who passed away peacefully aged 73 on 31 March.
Roger a long time resident of Fleckney Road Kibworth Beauchamp regularly walked the relative short distance to Smeeton Westerby church to attend to ‘see’ his parents. He had recently been ill and spent his final few months in Kibworth Knoll.
For those who wish to attend the funeral will take place on Friday 19 April in Christ Church Smeeton Westerby at 1.30pm..
