A bit of Smeeton Westerby News

On Friday 6 September the Annual Smeeton Westerby Onion competition was held at the Kings Head Pub, Smeeton Westerby. There were four entries and some spectacular onions.

Winner: Pete Eales whose onion weighed in at 4lb 15oz

2nd: Bob Capell, 4lb 2oz

3rd: Steve Benton 3lb 10oz

4th: Mick Worsley 3lb 8oz
