Kibworth Allotment Society
Gateley RJA contacted Kibworth Allotment Society (KAS) earlier this year to see if there was a project they could help us with, to align with their ethos of supporting their local community.
Our chairman, Robin Ager, then got in touch with Gateley RJA and asked for help with creating some new plots on site, to assist with lowering our waiting list numbers.
Wednesday 31 July was agreed and Gateley RJA had three of their employees pop down to site on West Langton Road and help us get to work.
The weather was very warm but a great day was had by all, with good spirits and lots of hard work taking place. KAS Members and the Gateley RJA employees managed to clear a junk spot on site, to create a new plot, which I am happy to confirm now has a tenant with exciting plans ahead.
KAS are incredibly thankful to Gateley RJA for their help, hard work and efforts on the day.
