It is with great sadness that I am writing to report the recent death of Mrs Beryl Lloyd. She was the wife of the late John Lloyd and mother to the three of us (Peter, Andrew and the late David). She had lived in Kibworth Harcourt for over 60 years and was one of the founders of the tennis club. She also taught at the village primary school for many years and was well known around the village. She always loved Kibworth and passed away with many happy memories.

Editor’s Note: Beryl, who lived on Marsh Drive, Kibworth Harcourt passed away on 18 April aged 92. We remember her being an excellent volunteer deliverer of The Kibworth & District Chronicle many years ago.
