Burton Overy Christmas Tree Festival 2024

‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’ in Burton Overy the weekend of 29 November to 1 December. Every year, (bar Covid), since the year 2000, the villagers of Burton Overy, (and we welcome others), have filled their church with beautifully decorated and lit Christmas Trees. Over the years there have been countless tree titles and ingenious ideas around the festival’s theme.

To enter a tree go to burtonoverypc.org.uk/Christmas-tree-festival.html

Many who visit every year say the festival marks the beginning of their Christmas.

As well as being able to engage in a magical walk amongst the trees in St Andrew’s Church, there are many stalls in the Village Hall selling Christmassy gifts, Christmas tree decorations, cards and stationery, wood turned items, home-made fairies, handicrafts, other Christmas decorations, hats and scarves and gloves, glass fused decorations. There will be beer from Langton Brewery and an amazing Christmas Hampers raffle.

You can also have a ‘cuppa’ and a piece of cake while you choose a stocking filler.

Opening hours are:

  • Friday 29 November, 10am – 6.30pm,
  • Saturday 30 November, 10am-5.30pm
  • and Sunday 1 December, 10am-5.pm

Entrance £3 Adults, Children Free.

Spread the word, bring the family, hope to see you there.
