Cosmo’s Shine for CRUK
Players from Kibworth Cosmopolitan’s Rounders Team have raised more than £600 for Cancer Research UK.
Lucy McMinn, Amy McCue, Linsey Jeyes and Jade Lewis took part in Leicester’s Night Shine Walk on Saturday 19 October, which saw them walk 10km in and around Leicester. Some of the team’s children also joined them and a special well done goes to Ewan, Josie, Izzy and Harry!
Team Captain Linsey Jeyes said “There are several of us in the team who have been affected by Cancer. We know people who’ve battled it, are battling it right now, as well as some who have passed and some who are in remission, so taking part was important to us. We would like to thank everyone who has donated, and sent messages of support, it means the world”.
