The Well Annual Report
The Trustees are pleased to report that The Well is in a sound position. Thanks in large part to the many volunteers who run the café, shop and foodbank. Without them The Well could not function. There is a real sense of community among our volunteers which we hope contributes to their own wellbeing. We would like to publicly acknowledge how much we value them. And, of course, we’d be delighted to hear from anyone who might like to join our wonderful volunteer team. Just walk into The Well and enquire or email Andy on admin@thewellkibworth.org.
We are also immensely grateful to a local family trust which agreed to give us £10,000 for the three years. This gave us the confidence to employ two excellent managers and to pay them a living wage. Between them Andy and Nicky are doing so much to make The Well a really warm and welcoming safe space for people. While The Well is currently in a very sound financial position we would really welcome occasional fundraising events now that the annual £10,000 grant has come to an end. So we would be very grateful to hear from anyone who has any good ideas for this and/or is willing to help us in any way.
