Will Weston
William (Will) Weston, youngest son of Pam and George Weston formerly of Merton Way, Kibworth sadly passed away in Newham Hospital in London on 14 December after becoming seriously ill. Will was born in Market Harborough Cottage Hospital in January 1980. He spent his childhood living in Kibworth along with his older brothers Robin and Edward. He was educated at the local village schools finishing at Beauchamp College, Oadby.
Growing up in the village he enjoyed Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Kibworth Methodist Sunday School and Youth Club. He also enjoyed Roger Garrett’s Evenchatter Group before becoming a St John Ambulance cadet in his teens. One of his favourite pastimes from his teens onwards was going to gigs and music festivals with his mates.
After leaving school he worked for the Alliance and Leicester Building Society. In 2003 he went travelling returning in time to be best man at his brother Robin’s wedding in July 2004.
Will moved to London in 2005 to share a house with friends. He began working for the Financial Ombudsman Service in Canary Warf eventually becoming an Ombudsman. It was at work in 2006 where he met and fell in love with his fiancée Leah, later setting up home with her.
