Dear Editor
I found Richard Wardle’s year-long experiment, changing from a consumerist way of living to reusing, repairing, recycling and all the other ways of reducing his carbon footprint, inspirational. It sounded challenging and, at times, fun too. Yes, sometimes we need to buy new and buy sustainably too, but finding second hand alternatives has to be so good for the planet and our future generations. Thank you, Richard, and maybe you can write an update in a year’s time!
