Roll up, roll up, it’s time to reserve your tickets for An Evening of Supper and Fun Entertainment on Friday 2 May. We present for you our Village Variety Show starring our very own Smeetarians! Firstly, we will be serving a delicious supper and then the frivolity will begin. We have songs, sketches and funny pieces of prose and poetry for your enjoyment. Please ring Philippa on 01162793841 or message her on 07748878027 to book your place– adults £15 and children £10. Of course, as usual we ask that you bring your own drinks and glasses. We are sure it will be a most enjoyable evening.

We are also now booking places for our infamous Murder Mystery Supper Nights entitled ‘Murder in The Mailbox’. Performed for you by The Main Stage Theatre Company, this is sure to be an excellent night. So, if you are free on Friday 13 or Saturday 14 June at 7 for 7.30pm, please ring or message Janet on 07950 409610 or 0116 279 2810 to reserve your seats. Again, tickets are £15 for adults and £10 for children and we ask you to bring your own drinks.

Finally, our next CoCo morning (3rd Wednesday of the month) will be held in the village hall on 16 April, 10.30 – 12noon, so why not come and join us for coffee, tea, cake and a chat.

Our other good news is that we will soon be installing WiFi into the hall and a new sound system so things are definitely moving on!
