Kibworth Community Library February update.
“You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one”
John Lennon
We must all be dreaming of warmer, sunnier, longer days. February can be the hardest month, but there are already signs of spring. Snowdrops are poking through the frozen earth, the sun is rising earlier and setting later, and there is definitely the sound of more bird song.
Meanwhile, here are some jokes to bring a smile (or groan) into your life!
- A man walks into a library and asks for a book on finding Bigfoot. The librarian directs him to the large print section.
- I have been reading a book on anti-gravity. I just cannot put it down.
- Why did the elephant use his trunk as a bookmark? So he nose where he finished reading.
- Why did Shakespeare write with ink? Because he couldn’t decide which pencil to use, 2B or not 2B?
Please accept my apologies!
