Kibworth Art Lovers’ Exhibition
The Kibworth Art Lovers are emerging from the latency imposed by Covid restrictions with an exhibition of their work to be held, by kind invitation of Roger and Nan Whiteway, at their venue opposite the Kibworth Co-op. The exhibition will take place on Friday 24, Saturday 25, and Sunday 26 September and will feature original paintings for viewing and for sale.
Our members are local artists as well as those who appreciate art and the process of creating art. When up and running we have met once a month to listen to visiting artists talk about their work and/or watch them demonstrate. These have been popular friendly meetings open also to non-members.
Each month, one of our members exhibits work in the Kibworth branch of the Market Harborough Building Society. Here we also have an annual exhibition that has enjoyed the valued support of Kibworth residents.
Following the September exhibition, the Kibworth Art Lovers’ committee aims to revive the programme of meetings in the spring of 2022 based on the size of our membership.
In the meantime the focus will be on exhibiting work and, hopefully, attracting new members.
