Foxton Community Choir
Hoorah, at long last andwith a couple of false starts, the relaxation of rules means that the Choir can now look forward to singing together again. Resilience ought to be our middle name as we’ve used Zoom and even the Foxton Recreation ground to try to continue singing through this difficult period, so it’s great to announce that the Choir will start rehearsing again in the Church from October.
If you enjoy singing, even if it’s just in the shower, then it’s time to start thinking about joining Foxton Choir. We sing a wide range of different music, some from the shows, modern pop songs, choral, folk and of course carols at Christmas.
Even if you think you can’t sing Adele Rogers, our Musical Director says, “there’s no such thing, everyone can sing.” It’s quite amazing the beautiful sound that we can make as a Choir.
Rehearsals are every Thursday at 7.30pm in Foxton Church, it’s not necessary to be able to read music and there’s no audition. So why not give it a try, it’s great fun and the end result of singing in harmony is fabulous and quite exhilarating. To find out more call Adele Rogers 07581 341957 or Gill Wollerton 07748 131512 – we’d love to hear from you.
Sometimes our Musical Director needs time off, so if you think you could deputise for her and take the Choir for rehearsal, please get in touch.
