Mowsley’s Advent Windows

Mowsley residents were thrilled this year to be able to visit the decorated Advent Windows throughout the village. The variety of creative ideas on show was amazing and all were deserving of the rounds of applause given.

Each evening sharp on 6pm a new Advent Window was unveiled. Enhanced with the hospitality of drinks and seasonal eats offered to the viewers.

By December 24th you could walk around the village and view twenty-four different Christmas-themed Windows. If, of course, you were still able to walk after partaking of numerous mince pie, sausage-rolls, stollen and the more alcoholic beverages.

It was a really positive and enjoyable way to start Christmas.
