Our 10th Anniversary
Belated Happy New Year and what a year this will be for Kibworth Ladies Choir! We are well underway rehearsing for our 10th Anniversary concert to be held this summer. Ten years – where has that time gone?
For this special concert we will be re-visiting some of our favourite songs which we have sung during our 10 years together. We will, of course, also be performing some new ones. We can’t wait! The date and venue will be confirmed via our Facebook page and also in the next edition of the Kibworth & District Chronicle.
Christmas Concert
We have to say a massive thank you for all the support we had for our Christmas Concert in December. This being our first concert since lockdown began! It was an amazing night – full of emotion to be back singing again with each other and in front of a packed audience!
We are delighted to announce that the concert raised £800. We have been able to donate £500 to GEMS charity and £300 to Kibworth Creatives Choir. Over the years, we have raised thousands of pounds for local and national charities. It’s great to be in a position to be able to continue to support so many incredibly worthwhile causes.
New Members
In January, we welcomed a number of new members to our Choir, bringing our total membership up to 40. That’s amazing!
