The programme of demonstrations and talks for the remainder of the season is on hold until further notice.
Meanwhile, this period of enforced isolation does give an opportunity to practise drawing and painting that may not often be available. Even though outdoor visits may be out of bounds, there are subjects such as still life, people and animals, landscapes and nature to inspire. Ideas can come from newspapers and magazines, books, television programmes or internet apps. Paint boxes can be retrieved from the back of the cupboard and pens and pencils found on shelves can be put to good use.
Who knows, this may be a way of making something good to look back on as a result of Covid-19?
