Paper House
Kibworth Resident opens shop near Great Glen
Paper House opened on 26 August, fresh out of lockdown, at Pennbury Farm, Stretton Road, Great Glen.
We’re not sure if it’s brave or bonkers opening a new business in the current climate, but we’re hoping that the new-found love of shopping local and supporting small businesses in a safer, rural setting will continue for a long time!
Paper House is all about paper – fun, beautiful and innovative products for everyone – all ages, all budgets and all occasions.
Owner Kate Foster, from Kibworth, has always loved cards and stationery so opening her own shop was only a matter of time…
Many of our ranges are designed and handmade in the UK – we love supporting other small, independent businesses – and others are from some really creative international companies.
We buy ethical and environmentally-friendly collections whenever we can – we even have cards made from elephant poo paper!
Our opening stock includes cards, gift wrap, home décor, jewellery, puzzles and much more, all made out of paper and card of course!
And we’re always on the look out for new and lovely paper-based products, so if you make, design or distribute products that might fit the bill, please do get in touch via our website www.hellopaperhouse.co.uk or Facebook, Twitter or Instagram @HelloPaperHouse.
You can also grab a drink or bite to eat in the lovely café, shop the Farm Shop and Feed Shed, browse the other independent outlet here, LotLiv Living, bring your pup to The Grooming Barn and say hello to the chickens, pigs, goats and ducks!
We’re open 10am-4pm Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-3pm Sundays and closed on Mondays (except Bank Holidays), with free parking, toilets and good wheelchair/pushchair access. See you soon!
