Kibworth Cricket Club – October 2020
It’s farewell to cricket after the strangest of seasons and it is absolutely appropriate to say a huge thank you to all of our players, coaches, ground staff, cleaners, bar staff, volunteers, committee members, members, sponsors and parents.
Without your amazing support we would not have been able to get cricket on and to ensure a safe environment for all.
On the field we have enjoyed success with our 1st and 2nd XI winning their respective groups in the Covid Cup – our 4th XI losing in their group semi-final.
Our Women’s Team have also competed extremely well this season and it was great to see so many spectators watching their fixtures.
We also are so proud to see many talented youngsters playing for the Kibworth junior sides as well as being selected for our Sunday Team.
We plan to have plenty on offer at KCC to keep people entertained during the autumn and winter months.
We will be opening the clubhouse from Friday to Sunday every week, showing all major sporting events, as well as themed evenings linked to a specific cuisine or drink type.
We have a host of new drinks on selection at KCC.
We welcome new social members to join KCC and make use of the facilities through the autumn and winter. For more information, please join as a member via www.kibworthcc.co.uk and request a social membership or feel free to pop to the club on one of the evenings we are open.
We will be following all applicable Covid-19 guidelines inside the clubhouse to make you feel welcome.
Our opening times for the winter will be, Friday 5.30pm till 10pm, Saturday 12.30pm to 7pm and Sunday 12.30pm to 7pm.
