On Saturday 17 October Burton Overy flower club celebrated what would have been Joan Stephens’ 90th Birthday. They filled the church with flowers of her favourite colours. She was a much loved friend and neighbour who we sadly lost along with her husband Peter earlier this year.
Joan was an active member of the flower club and organised all of our events, visits and activities. The members are keen to continue her legacy, as soon as the Covid situation allows us to meet up again. The church display was a fitting tribute to a very special lady, Joan will be sadly missed.
