Kibworth CE Primary School are pleased to announce that we have been recognised as a global leader in the successful integration of technology with teaching and learning. Microsoft have selected our school as a Microsoft Showcase Incubator School, joining an exclusive worldwide community.
This is to recognise and celebrate these schools for educational transformation, which includes vision and innovation in teaching, learning and assessment. As a Showcase School, we will work closely with Microsoft to lead innovation in education transformation. We commit to hosting and mentoring other schools in the local community and around the globe. We are very proud of this achievement and thank Mrs Stone for all her support on this journey.
Mr Briggs, who is now the Director of Primary Education for Discovery Trust, came to visit our school this month. It has been a long time since he was able to visit the school. He was absolutely delighted to see how engaged the children are in their learning, and how quickly local businesses had helped us to repair all the damage from the Kibworth hailstorm. In particular he thought the library was looking fantastic. I must thank Mrs Gough for the amazing amount of time and effort she has put into cataloguing and arranging all our new books. Thank you Nicky.
