Kibworth Creative – Youth Singing Groups
Thank you for everyone’s support regarding the start of Kibworth’s two new youth singing groups. The buzz this has caused has been really exciting. We’re all so proud to see the singers waiting eagerly to get started at the beginning of rehearsals!
Zoe Denison, our Choir Manager, and I have been bowled over by the fabulous sound that the young people can make. Zoe and I gave a taster workshop at Kibworth Mead Academy last week In order to recruit more singers for ‘The Crotchets’ our 11-14 singers. With thanks to Mr Wright and Miss Melling we heard some amazing singers. We look forward to you signing up and joining in!
At present, we are working on a variety of songs from the sea shanty ‘The Wellerman’ through to modern hip hop and pop such as ‘Old Town Road’ by Lil Nas X and ‘Blinding Lights’ by The Weeknd (not a typo!)
There are still places available for both groups. But, we are in particular need of young people aged 11-14 for the Crotchets and boys aged 8-11 for the Quavers. No experience is needed!

The Kibworth Creatives youth singing groups rehearse every Thursday at the Kibworth Grammar School Hall.
Quavers (aged 8-11): 3.40-4.30pm, Crotchets (aged 11-14): 4.45-5.30pm.
