Shine Night Walk
The Kibworth Coyotes helped light up the streets of Leicester by taking part in the Shine Night Walk in October to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. Passing all the local landmarks en route, the team-mates, who all play for the village rounders squad, collectively raised over £1,000 for this worthy cause.
Cancer Research UK runs a series of Shine Night Walks around the country, and this was the third time that the city has hosted it. Lex Shaw, the Coyotes captain said, “It was great fun, and an honour to walk in recognition of some truly brave and inspiring people and to do it surrounded by some fantastic ladies. We’ll be back doing it again next year! We want to say thank you so much to all those who sponsored us in reaching our total. Thank you, you’ve all made such a difference.”
