Kibworth Rambling Group Autumn Holiday in Exmoor
The photograph shows twenty members of the Kibworth Rambling Group enjoying their four-night holiday to Selworthy in Somerset. The group had a great time, although only one of the three walking days was dry.
In spite of wet days, they all agreed that it was, once again, an excellent break walking in the beautiful countryside of Exmoor, partaking in a number of cream teas. On each day a moderate walk around ten miles and an easier walk approximately six miles was on offer. Even the easier walks proved to be quite challenging due to the steep terrain of the area.
The Kibworth Rambling Group has been in existence for almost thirty years and has members from many areas across South Leicestershire. Members walk every Wednesday when both types of walks take place in the local area, and further afield. Two holidays are arranged each year, one in the spring by coach, and the other in the autumn self-driven.
Anyone interested in walking with the group should look at the website where information is available, and make contact with the group by email.
