New Trustees at KGSH
Over the last few months we have been pleased to recruit some new trustees to Kibworth Grammar School Hall. We would like to welcome Caroline Pitcher who will represent Kibworth Harcourt Parish Council. We would also like to welcome Amanda Bland, representing Kibworth Beauchamp and David Brierley who represents Smeeton Westerby PC. It is a long time since each of the parish councils have been represented at KGSH. We are grateful to the respective councils for their nominations.
In August Dave Birch was co-opted as a trustee, Dave was previously our minute secretary. We are pleased to welcome him as a full trustee. At the October meeting we co-opted Lynn Williams who has previously worked in human resources. Our new trustees bring with them a wealth of experience from their different walks of life. They have already proved to be an asset elsewhere and now to the organisation. We are glad to have them on board.
Following our enforced closure due to the Covid 19 epidemic we are slowly getting back to our previous levels of activity. If you need space for a class, group or meeting, we would be glad to hear from you, please call Kelly (0116) 279 6389 to discuss availability and hire rates.
On 18 November at 6pm we will be unveiling a plaque in memory of the late Betty Ward who was a former pupil of the school and also a trustee of the hall. Betty left a bequest to the hall. We are pleased to mark her contribution in this way, if anyone would like to join us for this short ceremony, please let Kelly know on the above number.
