Great Glen Gardening Club
Great Glen Gardening Club has started 2022. We are resuming our regular activities after the necessary Covid adjustments of the last couple of years.
The club holds indoor meetings on the first Thursday of the month in the Methodist Hall, Great Glen at 2.30pm. There is an interesting line up of speakers booked.
In the spring we run a plant sale in the village, and during the summer a series of interesting trips by coach or car.
In September there is the annual show, which for 2022 will be held at the Community Centre within St Cuthbert’s School. It is an open show and entries are invited from all. There is always a good turnout and interesting displays and exhibits.
There are some memberships available so if you are keen gardener or just starting out on your first garden, we would like to meet you to share our garden knowledge.
Membership of the club is a modest £12 per annum with £2 entry charge for indoor meetings.
Our next meeting is on Thursday, 3 March with a talk given by Ann Bird on The Rose in Japan.
