Kibworth Bowling Club – March ’22

Kibworth Bowling Club members have enjoyed indoor carpet bowls over the winter months.

Monday evening roll-ups have been well-attended social occasions, and several club competitions have taken place.

Competitions

Six teams battled for the Morrison Cup, and the winners were ‘The Outlaws’.

Eight pairs are currently competing for the Burbery/Hollingsworth Trophies.

A singles competition for the Rose Garden Trophy will be a whole day event on Saturday 2 April.

We will be opening the outdoor green for the summer season on Monday 11 April, weather permitting. We have five months of fixtures planned. These will include the South Leicestershire Triples League and Market Harborough League. In addition, there are friendly matches on Thursday and Saturday afternoons against local clubs.

Open Day

We have an Open Day on Sunday 15 May when you can come and meet us and have a go at playing bowls.

We also have regular practice sessions on Monday evenings from 6pm, and new members are always welcome. All equipment is provided, and free instruction is available from our Bowls England Coaches. There is plenty of parking on-site and the bar will be open.
