Festival of Cycling
There is exciting news about a Festival of Cycling to be held at Bruntingthorpe Airfield Proving Ground LE17 5QS on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June.
All ages of bike riders are welcome
Bike riders of all ages and all abilities are invited to join in the fun at the Bruntingthorpe Festival of Cycling organised by the Welland Valley Cycling Club in partnership with Cox Automotive.
It’s your chance to take to two wheels in a traffic-free environment and have some fun on the airfield and the go-kart track.
There’s Bikeability training for youngsters, (more information at https:www.bikeability.org.uk/) Sponsored rides, E bike testing, skills sessions for youngsters, have-a-go off-road, bike maintenance, a fastest lap challenge and road ride training.

These activities are at specific times on Saturday 25 June. On Sunday 26 June there is a Ten Mile Time Trial for members of cycling clubs, and the AA Brown Road Race.
Admission and all activities are FREE of charge but you MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE, and you must wear a cycle helmet for all activities.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. All participants ride at their own risk.
