Cannock camping
We have just had a fantastic three day camping expedition near Cannock. Fifty children camped with all the other scout groups from Harborough district (over 600 children in total). They enjoyed an amazing selection of outdoor activities. These were rock climbing, abseiling, crate stacking, clay pigeon shooting, axe throwing, go carting, kayaking, campfires…the list was unbelievable and it was brilliant fun.
We currently have a waiting list in all sections, especially Beavers. In September, we will be restarting an explorer group from Foxton for 14-18 year olds. If your child is aged 5-18 and is interested in joining, please apply to be added to our waiting list through the Harborough Scouts website. We are always looking for new adult leaders to join the fun and leaders’ children do get priority on the waiting list as an incentive!
