Kibworth Ladies’ Choir has been busy celebrating ten years of singing, laughing (and drinking Prosecco) together.
April marked ten years since the choir formed. Our first ‘gig’ being outside the Coach and Horses at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. We all remember with a smile singing ‘I can see clearly now’ in the pouring rain!!
Ten years later, we have many rousing choir rehearsals, concerts, love, laughter and competitions under our belts. We are now busy rehearsing for our Ten Year Anniversary Concert to be held on Saturday 29 October.
Save the date as it will be a very special event. Details of venue, tickets & so on available after the summer, see the September Issue of the Chronicle.
In the meantime, we are preparing for a Choir Summer Party and other events, including singing at a wedding or two. Here we are busy ‘rehearsing’ as you can see in the photo.
New Members
We are delighted that our recruitment drive at the start of the year attracted 12 lovely new members. Ladies who are obviously enjoying themselves as thankfully they all decided to stay!
